What is the /ou/ Sound?
The /ou/ sound is a vowel digraph. A vowel digraph is made when two vowels work together to make one sound.
The letters o and u come together to form ou.
The ou spelling can make different sounds in English, but in this lesson we are learning the /ou/ sound heard in words like:
